WASHINGTON, DC — Representative Warren Davidson (R-OH) today released the following statement after the House passage of H.R. 1, the Lower Energy Costs Act. This legislation restores American energy independence to fix the high costs of energy that hard-working Americans have endured under the Biden Presidency.
“Joe Biden’s anti-American energy agenda has done too much damage already. We’ve felt it at the gas pump and in our everyday lives with big and avoidable increases in the cost of electricity, oil, and natural gas,” said Rep. Warren Davidson. “I’m thankful, as promised, the House passed H.R. 1 and we are focused on restoring America’s status as a leader in the energy sector.
The Lower Energy Costs Act will increase domestic energy production, streamline American energy infrastructure, and reverse the anti-energy agenda of the Biden administration.
