WASHINGTON, D.C.— Congressman Warren Davidson (R-OH) issued the following statement following the House of Representatives passing H.R. 5403, the CBDC Anti-Surveillance State Act, which provides an important step towards protecting the American people from a government controlled CCP-style central bank digital currency.
“Central Bank Digital Currencies are an existential threat to western civilization. CBDC is a dystopian surveillance tool corrupting money into a tool for coercion and control,” said Rep. Warren Davidson. “Congress must defend the freedoms of the American people by banning Central Bank Digital Currencies. I applaud my colleagues for passing this legislation.”
