WASHINGTON, DC - Congressman Warren Davidson today led Ohio’s 16-Member Congressional delegation in sending a joint letter to Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue requesting that the recently issued disaster relief resources be made available to aid Ohio farmers unable to plant crops because of record flooding.

Heavy rainfall and flooding delayed planting making it the worst season on record in Ohio for farmers. The letter asks the Department of Agriculture to increase the prevent planting payment rate; and follows President Trump’s disaster declaration issued for Auglaize, Darke, Greene, Hocking, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Muskingum, Perry, and Pickaway counties.
