In an Associated Press investigation, it was discovered that over half of the individuals who met with Hillary Clinton while Secretary of State gave money to the Clinton Foundation. 

 

Congressman Warren Davidson (R-OH) released the following statement in light of this news:

 

"In light of known facts about the Clinton Foundation, the FBI and others have petitioned the Justice Department to investigate evidence of systematic corruption as Hillary Clinton served as Secretary of State. The American people need to know that our country, its policies, and secrets are not for sale. Moreover, they need to know that justice is still a defining part of our culture and still the focus at the Justice Department. This disappointing situation, the public release of emails, Director Comey's testimony before Congress, and Attorney General Lynch's inaction all scream for a Special Prosecutor. ‎ I encourage an immediate appointment, a thorough investigation that preserves due process, and a resolve to see justice restored."
