WASHINGTON, D.C. — Rep. Warren Davidson (R-OH) introduced the Railroad Responsibility Act of 2024 today. This legislation ends railroad crossing blockages by allowing states to enforce penalties for blocking roadways.

“The Railroad Responsibility Act restores state authority to regulate blocked rail crossings,” said Rep. Davidson (R-OH). “The federal government must stop preventing states from enforcing commonsense laws, like Ohio’s law that prevents blocked crossings.”
