WASHINGTON, DC — Representative Warren Davidson (R-OH) today released the following statement in response to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s political prosecution and indictment of President Donald J. Trump. 

“Instead of focusing on the safety of New York City, Alvin Bragg has continued the Witch Hunt against the former President and weaponized the justice system to fulfill his own campaign promise,” said Rep. Warren Davidson. “Bragg has downgraded over half of felony cases to misdemeanors, and of the felony cases he chose to prosecute, less than half resulted in a conviction. New York City has become Gotham City under Bragg’s guidance as DA — it’s no longer a safe place for Ohioans to visit. He should do his job or face disbarment, not create partisan political theatre.”
