WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, President Donald Trump signed the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement, ratifying the new trade deal, which promises to boost the U.S. economy.

Conservative estimates project that the deal will spur new economic activity to the tune of $68 billion and create 176,000 new jobs.

After President Trump signed the agreement into law, Congressman Davidson said:

“I’m excited and hopeful about this new era in American trade policy. We’ve delivered to the American people a deal that will bring confidence and strengthen the U.S. economy. I’m honored to have been a part of the whip team that saw this deal across the finish line in the House. And I’m hoping we’ll see excellent deals with Britain and China in the future.”
