WASHINGTON, DC - Today, Congressman Warren Davidson (OH-08) released the following statement on President Trump's withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal.
“I agree with President Trump that we cannot ignore threats posed by the Iranian regime.
“The first deal with Iran was weak and deeply flawed. Weak deals are consequential. This time last year the North Korean’s were threatening us with weapons they weren’t supposed to have. Today, Korea is making peace.
“With this withdraw from the Iran deal, it is vitally important this Administration build a better, more unifying framework, to ensure that Iran actually abandons its ongoing efforts to develop and threaten their neighbors with nuclear weapons.”
