Columbus, OH - Today, Congressman Warren Davidson (OH-8) joined the Dayton Development Coalition at the 2017 Ohio Defense Forum in Columbus to discuss the current defense environment and the roles government, military, and the defense industry play in supporting Ohio’s 10 military installations.

Davidson moderated the, "Exploring Defense Industry Adjustment" panel at the Forum in which participants discussed key issues and ideas on how Ohio regions and companies can connect and participate in the defense supply chain.

Rep. Davidson offered remarks in support of further stakeholder collaboration which reinforce Ohio's position as a strong leader and player in the defense supply chain.

“The Springfield Ohio National Guard Base located in our district and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in the greater region both play a critical role in support of our military capabilities abroad. Our region of Ohio is a leader in supporting our national defense capabilities and strong coordination and collaboration with the Department of Defense and all its stakeholders is important.”

Additional participants of the Forum included Reps. Brad Wenstrup (OH-2), Mike Turner (OH-10), Bill Johnson (OH-6), and Marcy Kaptur (OH-9), as well as Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives Cliff Rosenberger, Ohio Senator Bill Beagle, and Ohio Representative Rick Perales.
