WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, the House of Representatives voted to confirm Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s impeachment managers and to send two articles of impeachment to the Senate.

The vote largely mirrors the decidedly partisan December 18th House vote on two articles: abuse of office and obstruction of Congress.

Ohio Representative Warren Davidson remarked after the vote:

Naturally, I voted against this partisan list of impeachment managers—just as I voted against this partisan impeachment. All we’ve learned since voting on the articles in December, is that House Democrats have no faith in their own case and that they want to exert their power in the Senate. I’m particularly discouraged by the inclusion of Rep. Adam Schiff, who has demonstrated time and again his disdain for the president and weak relationship with the truth. I’m looking forward to the House returning to the people’s business.
