There was a different structure under former Director Cordray whose leadership of the CFPB had a very pernicious effect on the economy. I believe that Director Kranigner will follow Mick Mulvaney's efforts to bring about change at the Bureau; and that she will continue working with Congress to restore constitutional governance to CFPB. Ultimately, I think that Director Kranigner will do a great job working to implement the goals of the office and I look forward to working with her.” Congressman Davidson sits on the House Financial Services Committee which has oversight of the CFPB.   ###
