WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, Congressman Warren Davidson (R-OH) denounced the United Nations’ Council on Human Rights, which this week published a report on businesses with ties to settlements in the West Bank in Israel.

Congressman Davidson responded strongly to the report:

“It is disappointing that the U.N. Human Rights Council compiled and distributed a document targeting companies—including 6 American companies—for conducting business in and around the West Bank. This ‘report’ amounts to little more than a potential boycott list for supporters of the loathsome Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) Movement against Israel.

It’s worth noting that if BDS proponents get their way, they will succeed in only further isolating Israel, at the cost of straining diplomatic relations in a highly volatile region.”
